Kelly Donnelly is a producer, engineer with three decades in the industry. In January 2026 he became the owner of 12th Street Sound. A high end studio facility built in a 1950 Baptist Church in Austin, TX.
In 2008 he began his working relationship with Grammy Award winning guitarist Eric Johnson. To date he has recorded and mixed 8 CDs with E.J, including "Europe Live" (#1 Billboard Blues chart) and the Eric Johnson/Mike Stern project "Eclectic" (#1 Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart, #3 Billboard Jazz chart) . In addition, numerous E.J guest spots on such noted artist's records as Christopher Cross, Sonny Landreth, Oz Noy, Doyle Dykes and Eric Gales.
He has also mixed and recorded orchestral and original movie scores for composer Hanan Townshend, including 3 films by Director Terrence Malick. "To The Wonder","Knight of Cups" and "Song to Song".
He mixed and recorded Hanan's music for an Apple "Your Verse" iPad commercial, (featuring dialogue from Robin Williams). A Dewar's Scotch "Live True" campaign, a Coca Cola commercial aired during the 2016 Summer Olympics and the car company "Genesis."
Kelly has recently returned to producing and freelance mixing, working out of 12th Street Sound. He enjoys working in many different genres.
